Daniel ViliesidDaniel heads the representative office in Mexico for BioRegional. He is an experienced sustainability professional and innovator who has worked in the development and implementation of pioneering sustainability strategies for flagship developments in the United Kingdom, USA, and Mexico; he is currently a Board Member for the Environment Conservation Trust of Queretaro; and, has recently been selected as one of the Climate Champions for Climate Generation Latin America and the Caribbean - an international programme from the British Council.

Daniel is an Industrial and Systems Engineer from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and has an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development form University College London. He worked for over 3 years as Sustainability Integrator for BioRegional Quintain, the leading sustainable community developer in the UK. As part of his role, Daniel was instrumental in the delivery of the first endorsed One Planet Community to be built - One Brighton in the United Kingdom - where he worked directly in the development and implementation of the Sustainability Action Plan (in the design, construction, and occupation/management stages) and in the implementation of the necessary mechanisms to deliver Zero Carbon power to the development. Daniel also supports our North America office in various projects and is developing a portfolio of projects in Mexico.
