In her previous role as a project manager for an environmental consultancy she worked with architects and developers to implement sustainable building practices.  She also provided support to local authorities developing and implementing low carbon planning policy.  This included in-house support to the London Borough of Sutton’s planning department, facilitating delivery of their low carbon ambitions.  In addition, she provided training to planners to promote the importance of low carbon design in the planning process.

Joanna is a registered Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM Assessor, and holds a degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Durham.
