Sam joined BioRegional in 2008 and worked on various local government strategies for One Planet Living, as well as projects with the construction sector and local businesses. He moved to Kenya in 2011 to set up BioRegional Kenya and work on renewable energy projects.

Sam is also a Director for access:energy, an organisation that specialises in appropriate energy technologies.
