Book a BedZED tour

The BedZED tour lasts 1.5 hours and includes time spent walking around the BedZED site, visiting the show home and viewing the Exhibition Centre. We look at the green lifestyles strategies at BedZED; how we have reduced waste, transport emissions and the ecological footprint of food consumption. We also look at the energy and water strategies; how energy and water consumption have been reduced and how we generate energy on site, and collect and recycle water.

N.B. The minimum age is 18, our tours are aimed at industry professionals and postgraduate students who are fluent in English.

• If you aren't all fluent in English, please contact us to discuss a tour that can be translated, whether amongst friends/colleagues or with a professional translator.
• If you are a school/youth group you may like to book Cut the Carbon who we work with.

Tours cost £22 per person, or £15 per person for students and charity employees. Question and answer sessions with an architect cost an additional £8.

We run tours on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons in two groups of up to 17 people each. You can also book a half-hour session with an architect after the tour, but we require a minimum of 10 people per session to run them.
