Commercial Development Manager

Claire has recently joined Bioregional as Commercial Development Manager to scale up our sustainability work across a wide range of sectors including corporate businesses, new build developments and the leisure sector.

Claire joins us from Business in the Community where she managed a varied portfolio of companies. With over 6 years’ experience Claire has provided guidance on sustainability strategies for more than 20 companies including John Lewis, Tesco, Costain, Grant Thornton, Aramark, Brakes, Samsung & 3M. Claire led on revamping the Responsible Business Awards and was a judge for the inaugural year of the Most Sustainable Retailer category in the Retail Industry Awards in 2011. Prior to this Claire helped establish London Plus Credit Union – a thriving community-owned financial service in West London, supported the development of Social Enterprise Scotland and worked in the Scottish Parliament supporting the first Green Member of Scottish Parliament. Claire holds an MSc in Human Ecology and BSc in Psychology.

In her spare time Claire is mostly likely to be found outdoors; walking, cycling, at a keep fit bootcamp, or failing that just exploring the world with her two young children.
