Ken Glendinning FRICS

Ken is the Head of Strategic Land for Southern England at the Homes and Communities Agency, with responsibility for the development of large sites.

He was also previously a Head of Area for Surrey and Sussex, where he led the South East’s land and affordable investment programmes.

Prior to 2010, Ken was Head of Major Projects at the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, leading the team responsible for the borough’s regeneration and major economic development projects, including Earls Court and White City Opportunity Area. He was also the Deputy Director of Development at the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation. Here he led the government’s strategic delivery including physical investment in the Lower Lea Valley and its interface with the emerging 2012 Olympics site.

Ken used to be Head of Land and Property at the South East England Development Agency with responsibility for public sector investment in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire. He led the delivery of major sites including the 1500-home Centenary Quay scheme.
