CEO wins mainstream entrepreneur award

Last night our Chief Executive Sue Riddlestone was delighted to be awarded an Ernst & Young regional Entrepreneur of the Year Award for her 19 year long track record in setting up sustainable companies and projects.

Sue said “This award means so much to me and our team. It’s recognition that our work stands up against mainstream businesses and that’s what we always aim for at BioRegional. I hope it gives confidence to all the other sustainability entrepreneurs and investors out there too”.

Sue is one of 18 winners in the London and South region. Others included CDS (Superstores International) Ltd, Climate Cars Ltd and Nails Inc. Winners have also been announced for the North & Midlands and Scotland. Sue now goes forward with all the regional winners to the UK national finals in October.

All finalists join the Ernst & Young entreprenuer of the year alumni network. BioRegional will be sure to take the opportunity to highlight the opportunities and benefits that sustainable business brings.

The awards were judged by a panel of 12 leading businesses experts from around the UK.
