VANCOUVER: OPL joins Vancouver Mayor Sullivan in launch of EcoDensity Initiative June 16, 2006, by Greg Searle. Mayor Sam Sullivan invited us to speak at the launch of his laudable new Vancouver EcoDensity Initiative as a kick-off to the Third World Urban Forum.
It was a great honor to share the podium with Patrick Condon, UBC James Taylor Chair in Landscape and Liveable Environments and Michael Geller, a developer currently overseeing the creation of Simon Fraser University's new green residential neighbourhood. The BBC - on hand for the World Urban Forum - ended up quoting one of my remarks.
