Current projects - your trust could help us to...

• Create a One Planet demonstration eco-community of 1,000 homes close to the Olympics site – we have identified a site but we need to work with architects, engineers and planners to define the vision, before approaching developers.
 
• Guide and support the establishment of three TreeStations - sites where products from tree surgery and forest management are brought to be converted into fuel.
 
• Set up a nationwide network of shops selling re-used construction materials – this will raise money for a range of NGOs, provide employment for vulnerable people, and divert waste away from landfill.
 
• Facilitate the creation of One Planet Communities in China, South Africa and North America by influencing and encouraging developers and governments.
 
• Transform a whole community in London into a One Planet Community by retro-fitting homes and amenities with energy, waste and water-saving appliances, whilst working with the community to show them how to make the most of these changes.

Not only do donations – large and small – bring our projects to life, they can also act as catalysts to ‘unlock’ money from local authorities and European funders, making an even bigger difference to our work.
