BioRegional Forestry Co
Overview
BioRegional have been carrying out practical forestry work since 1994, and had always planned for the practical aspects of the project to become self-financing. This aim has been realised by spin-off company BioRegional Forestry run by former BioRegional Development Group employees Nick Shanks, Mark McCallum and Tony Button.
The company continues to provide sustainable forestry services and supplies firewood to the BioRegional Charcoal Company and homes in the south London.
The company is working with, among others, the Woodland Trust, The London Wildlife Trust and the Corporation of London. Projects have included clearing invasive species from ancient woodland sites, opening rides and promoting woodland edge habitats.
