We’re looking for an experienced and confident project officer to join our growing team of technical sustainability experts. You will contribute technical knowledge, research skills and project support to a wide range of projects to help companies develop and implement ambitious sustainability strategies.
This might include supporting the development of sustainable products, calculating corporate carbon footprints, setting science-based emission reduction targets or developing bespoke sustainability strategies.
Experience and responsibilities
You will have a background and qualifications in environment and/or sustainability and a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience. Ideally you have a good understanding of what’s required to develop ambitious sustainability strategies in line with climate science, with experience of carbon footprinting and/or life cycle analysis.

The post is permanent and full-time and is based at our offices at BedZED in South London, on the mainline Victoria and Thameslink train lines.
Salary: £26,000-£29,000 depending on experience, plus 6% employer’s ethical pension contribution and 25 days of annual leave, rising by one day a year up to five years’ service.
