We’re looking for an experienced and confident senior project officer to join our growing team of sustainability experts. You will contribute technical knowledge, research skills and project support to a wide range of projects to help companies develop and implement ambitious sustainability strategies.

This might include calculating corporate carbon footprints, setting science-based emission reduction targets or developing bespoke sustainability strategies.

Experience and skills

You will have a background in environment and/or sustainability and a minimum of two years’ relevant work experience. Ideally, you have a good understanding of what’s required to develop ambitious sustainability strategies in line with climate science, with experience of carbon footprinting.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a strong interest and knowledge of sustainability, based on personal conviction as well as academic and/or practical experience.
  • Be a balanced and highly numerate all-rounder with strong skills in data management, research, verbal and written communication and presentation, as well as collaboration.
  • Be keen to get involved in business development and exploring new project opportunities, with an existing network within the sector.

The post offers plenty of scope for professional development, and you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team.
