I work with retailers, restaurants and businesses in the built environment to develop leading and visionary sustainability strategies and action plans. I also oversee our work with Business Improvement Districts, to leverage collective action to create more sustainable places.
Whilst at Bioregional, I have worked with a wide range of clients, including The Carey Group, The Portman Estate, Nando’s, Pizza Hut, Hammerson, B&Q and Hill. I enjoy how much my work varies in scale; from developing a corporate sustainability strategy to more finite projects such as managing sustainable fit-outs or producing procurement guidelines.
A notable project for me was in 2016, where I worked closely with Nando’s construction team and its contractors to support and guide the team through its most sustainable restaurant build and fit-out, to achieve a SKA Gold rating.
Before Bioregional
I worked at the Mineral Products Association, where I managed the sector’s sustainability reporting and engaged in energy and carbon policy with UK Government on behalf of the industry.
I hold an MSc with distinction in Environmental and Earth Resource Management from Kingston University and a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Southampton. I'm an RICS accredited SKA rating assessor for retail fit-outs.
When I'm not at work
I enjoy spending time with my young family, exploring nature and planning home renovations.
