I manage projects that help businesses shift towards more sustainable consumption and production models, in line with UN Sustainable Development Goal 12. In particular I work with Kingfisher to develop criteria, guidance and roadmaps to improve the sustainability of its products. Currently these makes up 32% of Kingfisher’s sales with the aim of reaching 50% by 2020. By guiding retailers to sell better, more sustainable products I hope to make sustainable living more accessible and mainstream.

I also work with other companies including M&S, Nando’s and innocent on a range of projects covering sustainability data monitoring, supply chain research, sustainable procurement and developing tools to help implement circular economy principles.

Before Bioregional

I worked for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development to explore how multinational companies can use futures thinking to instigate more transformational action for sustainability. I also engaged London communities in practical sustainability projects, taught English in Spain and gained an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.

When I'm not at work

I enjoy anything outdoors – travelling, hiking, cycling and falling off surf boards. And dancing (sometimes indoors).
