Fundraising Manager (22.5 – 37.5 hours a week)
£32,000-£42,000 full time (pro-rata part-time) depending on skills and experience.
Are you an experienced fundraiser with at least two years proven track record in fundraising and in delivering major trust and lottery grants? Do you have an excellent knowledge of the trust, foundation and statutory grant making environment? Are you a helpful and organised person with great communication skills and a passion for sustainability? If so, you could be the perfect person to join our team.
Bioregional is an international award-winning social enterprise and charity working at the cutting edge of sustainability. Our work on eco-friendly communities and enterprises has changed policy and influenced best practice in the UK and around the world. We currently employ 25 people in the UK and have a turnover of £1.4 million. We have a number of well-developed and compelling projects ready to go in the UK and internationally which, in this new post, you could help to make a reality.
This is a responsible role within the organisation, reporting to our Chief Executive. The main day to day activity will be working with staff to progress bids from conception to completion, with the opportunity to develop and lead some bids yourself. We will need you to maintain a strategic overview of opportunities, support and build the capacity of staff and manage our relationships with funders.
The post is suitable for either part-time or full-time working. The role is based at our offices at the BedZED eco-village in Hackbridge, Sutton, south London, on the mainline Victoria and Thameslink train lines.
We offer 6% employers ethical pension contribution and 25 days annual leave rising by one day a year up to five years’ service (pro-rata for part time).
