Jonny Wilkinson

Marketing and Design Officer

Jonny supports the communications team at Bioregional with design, writing and marketing. He helps to share our work to a wider audience to inspire living and working within the means of our one planet.

Jonny joined Bioregional from South Africa, where he worked for education NGO The Bookery as its Fundraising and Communications Officer. He was previously at the advertising agency Old Friends Young Talent as an account executive.

He has a BSocSc degree in Politics and Philosophy and an Honours in History from the University of Cape Town, and a postgraduate diploma in Advertising and Marketing Communications from the Red & Yellow School in Cape Town. His first job out of university was at social justice NGO Equal Education based in Khayelitsha, where he worked in coordination and research. He sees his role at Bioregional as an exciting opportunity to put his varied experience gained in South Africa to good use in a workplace that strongly resonates with his interests – namely, the environment and how we deal with climate change.

In his spare time Jonny likes cycling and running (currently at a leisurely pace), reading a good book and exploring his interest in photography and writing. He aims to resolve the lack of a garden at his new home in Tooting.
