Head of Sustainable Places

Ronan joined Bioregional in 2007 and now leads our work to create more sustainable places through new-build developments, built environment advisory services, and innovation in energy.

He has over eight years’ sustainability experience working across masterplan and design briefs, construction, energy, corporate reporting, carbon footprint, product reviews, waste minimisation and reuse. His work includes projects for Cofely Energy, Siemen’s Crystal, Kingfisher Group, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, M&S, Skanska and Carillion plc.

Ronan holds an MSc in Design for Sustainability, BSc in Physics and Philosophy and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Ronan’s pastimes include growing tomatoes, tinkering with bicycles, and getting into the mountains as much as possible.
