Before Bioregional

Before joining Bioregional, I worked for an intergovernmental organisation in its Climate, Oceans and Energy Directorate, supporting international research, action groups and discussions between 56 countries’ foreign ministries, experiencing the importance of global collaboration in tackling climate change.

I also co-led the Energy Literacy Action Group, translating complex energy topics into engaging, accessible stories, including running a focus group with children on sustainable energy.

I hold a First-Class degree in Geography and Sustainability from the University of Exeter, and a First-Class postgraduate diploma in Climate Change and Policy from King’s College London, focusing on the UK’s net zero targets and the wider international landscape.

Alongside my studies, I gained practical experience through internships in carbon footprinting, net zero action planning, reporting and frameworks, and climate communication.

When I’m not at work

I’m usually reading a good book or outdoors, walking, running, playing tennis or swimming in the sea. I love being in nature and it connects me to why our work matters: protecting our one planet.
