Big ambitions often get watered down or lost completely during construction. Using our One Planet Living framework helps ensure the construction process keeps to its sustainability vision and resource targets.
First, we create a plan for a sustainable construction process. This includes goals for the site covering all ten One Planet Living principles, including water use, biodiversity, health and happiness – and of course, carbon emissions.
We make sure sustainability aspirations are embedded into work packages so each member of the build team knows exactly what they have to do. Regular toolbox talks ensure that key messages are regularly enforced.
We make sure any changes to architectural details are consistent with One Planet Living goals. We also ensure that you address the energy performance gap.
