• The level of ambition being set by competitors and sector initiatives
• Relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals that could be adopted as part of a set of business targets
• Relevant outcomes and KPIs based on Bioregional’s own One Planet Living Goals and Guidance

Through this review, and by looking at your current sustainability performance and business priorities, we will propose a long list of topics and KPIs to consider. We will then work with you to engage stakeholders and build consensus on what to focus on in your suite of sustainability targets.

For example for Kingfisher plc, we calculated the lifetime energy and carbon consumption of all energy-using product ranges. We then modelled how much energy and carbon reduction could be achieved by improving the energy performance standards of its ranges. This provided a strong evidence base on which to set a target and develop a clear roadmap to achieving it.

We also have a wealth of experience in setting greenhouse gas reduction targets that meet the criteria of the global Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
