There are now more than 7.3 million people living in or visiting communities that have been shaped by One Planet Living.

Over 350 organisations have now used One Planet Living to create a more sustainable world. They span six continents and 22 countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa and USA, among them:

• 71 real-estate projects
• 86 businesses
• 38 city/regional districts
• 39 schools/education providers

The framework is helping our partners slash their carbon emissions, preserve resources and build stronger communities, from Sonoma County to Southern Africa. For example:

• More than 35 One Planet Living leaders from around the world have now been recognised as achieving the gold standard in sustainable placemaking
• Leading UK retailer B&Q has saved £164m through its One Planet Home programme due to better energy, transport and waste management.
• The One Planet Living Real Estate Fund raised $69m, and has 10 active real estate projects in downtown Ottawa and across the Greater Toronto Area - delivering some of the greenest developments in North America.
• Geothermal energy at Villages Nature Paris, a pioneering sustainable tourist resort, is providing 100% of its hot water and heat demand - and 30% at neighbouring Disneyland Paris.
• UK business improvement district New West End Company used the framework to frame its ambitious sustainability strategy
