Bioregional hosts the secretariat for UKSSD, a dynamic, multi-stakeholder network that’s working to implement the SDGs in the UK
Bioregional and Beyond 2015 founded Transform Together, a multi-stakeholder network to help drive sustainable consumption and production (SCP): Goal 12 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We already know, in so many ways, how to achieve sustainable consumption and production. The idea beyond Transform Together is to replicate and scale the fantastic business and policy solutions that are already out there.
Sustainable Consumption and Production involves making ‘fundamental changes in the way that our societies produce and consume goods and services’ so that everyone can live a good quality of life within their fair share of our one planet’s resources.
We are currently working on consumer goods, with focus on smartphones and ICT products in particular.
In 2016, Transform Together created the Sustainable Smartphones Working Group to accelerate the path towards a more sustainable smartphones industry.
