London Climate Action Week 2020
We’re excited to be taking part in London Climate Action Week for the second year running, and will be sharing our solutions to the climate and ecological emergency in a free webinar
Joe Biden’s confirmation as US President-elect was always going to be well-received by anyone with even a passing interest in the future of all life on Earth. His re-stated commitment to bring the United States back into the Paris Climate Agreement, coupled with Boris Johnson’s recent backing, gives the environmental movement a much-needed shot in the arm.
Biden’s victory will also no doubt inject greater enthusiasm into London Climate Action Week, running between 14-20 November.
And our injection metaphors wouldn’t be complete without LCAW’s timely Trainspotting spoof (below), inspiring us all to use this moment to reset, choose life and build back better. The annual event aims to 'create space for London’s world-leading array of climate professionals to come together to find solutions to climate change' and 'aims to be a unifying moment shaping a whole of society response to the climate emergency'.

Join us for a free webinar on Tuesday 17 November, 11:00-11:30 GMT, as our CEO, Sue Riddlestone OBE and Nicole Lazarus, our Head of One Planet Living, share their very personal experiences of designing, working and living in the groundbreaking BedZED eco-village in South London. They’ll share their key successes and lessons learnt, as well as explaining how we can only get to net zero by enabling fully sustainable lifestyles.
Throughout the week we’ll also be sharing actions that individuals can take, and examples of amazing zero-carbon communities around the world that have been designed using our One Planet Living framework. Follow us on Twitter to stay in the loop.
