What is PPN 06/21?
The snappily named Policy Procurement Note (PPN) 06/21 is a policy introduced by the UK government in June 2021, and it requires businesses bidding for large government contracts (typically exceeding £5 million per year) to submit a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) as part of their bid.
What is a Carbon Reduction Plan?
In basic terms, a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) quantifies all your greenhouse gas emissions and sets out when, and how, your business will reach net zero.
